Kids the best hope 4 America’s Future!

As the late Adrian Rogers said, “you cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.”

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class.

That class had insisted that Obama‘s socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.

The professor then said, “OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama’s plan”.

All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A.

After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B.

The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy.

As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.
The second test average was a D!

No one was happy.

When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.

The scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.

Could not be any simpler than that.

I agree with Freedom of Speech as I consider myself to be a spiritual person and yearn to express my self religiously as I want, the the actions of a few dictate the ideals of the majority (in other secs, races, peoples minds)

Supreme Court, The role of….

Jefferson correctly predicted the judicial destruction of federalism.  That would not have happened had our federal judges stayed true to their proper roles in our constitutional scheme as explained by Hamilton in Federalist #78, and the early Supreme Court itself in its holdings.

The proper role of a judge is to exercise “judgment” in applying the law as per the intents of those who created it, to the facts and controversies before his court, rather than imposing his own personal will regarding the enunciation of new public policy.  Constitutional principles were supposed to be fundamental and permanent because

  1. They derive from the will of the people themselves.
  2. Their will cannot be changed very easily because of the difficult mechanism for change purposefully engineered into the amendment process.

The courts were not given the power to change those principles on personal whims.  When the Constitution was to be interpreted and applied, rather than confining themselves to the original intents behind it, activist courts discarded them and became super-legislators in determining matters of public policy.  However,  this is very dangerous for it tends to generate deep-seated frustrations and angers among those who perceive themselves as becoming permanent losers on the various issues.  This is particularly true when the Supreme Court trumps ordinary democracy with semi-permanent pronouncements of constitutional rights and/or mandates on the various governmental units.  This perpetuates a “rule of men” rather than the “rule of law” since it violates the compact theory of government which emanates bottom-up from the people, rather than the top-down from the courts.

War and Peace, Greek food and whine!

After gaining our independence in the Revolutionary War, we had to decide how the country was to be governed.  As the greatest American political minds searched world history for ideas, they paid a lot of attention to ancient Greece – the cradle of democracy.  They liked the idea of self-government but were troubled that the Greeks were not able to sustain their form of government permanently.  As they sought the reasons why, they considered the idea of virtue and concluded that the efficacy of democracy depended upon the level of “virtue” within the people.  If they were going to call themselves a free people and preserve themselves as a free people, they had to successfully foster the notion that every individual within such a society must be a good self-governor.   In other words, rather than depending upon external legal constraints and force to maintain order and peace, they had to rely upon individual self-restraint and self-control.  But they realized that it is only reasonable to expect people to act that way if they have a strong virtuous and moral base.

Our founders saw religion as the most powerful civilizing institution which could provide and sustain that moral base upon which our republic could be successfully built and without which, it would ultimately collapse like the Greeks before them.  Consequently, they believed it to be imperative to encourage and support religion and did not see any 1stAmendment problem with governmental support of religion as long as it did not go too far.

Bo mama says “Thanks Suckers!”

“There is no subtler, no surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose.” – John Maynard Keynes, 1919.

Theivery!!

The irony of this article appearing in the English edition of Pravda (Russian on-line newspaper) defies description.  Why can a Russian newspaper print the following yet the American media can’t/won’t see it?

American Capitalism Gone With A Whimper

http://english.pravda.ru/img/pravda-logo.gif
It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American descent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years.  The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was.  But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather than the classics.  Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas than the drama in DC that directly affects their lives.  They care more for their “right” to choke down a McDonald?s burger or a Burger King burger than for their constitutional rights.  Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our “democracy”.  Pride blinds the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different “branches and denominations” were for the most part little more than Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more than happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the “winning” side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another.  Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the “winning” side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power.  Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama.  His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive.  His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America?s short history but in the world.  If this keeps up for more than another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Weimar Republic and at worstZimbabwe.

These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all.  First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, losses, and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars.  These make our Russian oligarchs look little more than ordinary street thugs, in comparison.  Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes.  Should we congratulate them?

These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another.  They are also usurping the rights, duties, and powers of the American congress (parliament).  Again, congress has put up little more than a whimper to their masters.

Then came Barack Obama’s command that GM’s (General Motors) president step down from leadership of his company.  That is correct, dear reader, in the land of “pure” free markets, the America president now has the power, the self-given power, to fire CEOs, and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will.  Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.

So it should be no surprise that the American president has followed this up with a “bold” move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies.  I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too.  Prime Minister Putin, less than two months ago, warned Obama, and UK?s Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster.  Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our “wise” Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.

Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper…but a “free man” whimpers.

So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set “fair” maximum salaries, evaluate performance, and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses?  Senator Barney Frank, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort.  He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive.

The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible.  In other words, divest while there is still value left.

The proud American will go down into his slavery without a fight, beating his chest, and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is.  The world will only snicker.

Money Power and Sex!

FIVE FUN FACTS!

1) You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. (More info)

2) What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

3) The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

4) You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

5) When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, it is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Samuel Adams

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!” – Samuel Adams

Samuel Adams was born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 27, 1722.. He was a leader of the fight against British colonial rule.

He was an outspoken opponent of the ever increasing laws passed in British Parliament.

These laws sought in increase Tax monies from the revenue generated by American Colonies.

In 1773 the pressure Adams and his Boston associates created pushed England to rescind on all save it one.

It’s the Tea Act. The Tea Act granted the “British East India Company” a monopoly on the sale of tea to the colonies. With a TAX of course as the “Crown” provided numerous items and security.

Then on December 16 1773, Adams and company realized taxing had gone to far. They felt as if they could not survive under English rule. They dumped an entire friggot of British tea into Boston Harbor.

Straight is the Way!

“There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily.” –George Washington

…Will the Constitution be destroyed? No. It will be held inviolate by this people; and as Joseph Smith said “the time will come when the destiny of this nation will hang upon a single thread, and at this critical juncture, this people will step forth and save it from the threatened destruction.”
Brigham Young in Journal History, 4 July 1854

“We are God’s children, and if we ever got that through our heads thoroughly and understood that completely, we would never do a small thing, we would never say a cross word. We would not use bad language. We would not criticize anybody. We would love everyone the way the Savior loves us. ‘As I have loved you, love one another’.”

That is clear language that James is speaking. He helped usher in the greatest nation the world has ever seen. I am suggesting we as American’s join together and push for a rebirth of  reverence for GODS LAWS.
